It was actually Vanilla Cake with whipped cream and strawberries... New York City inspired cake... in the shape of an apple. It was a cake made for someone relocating to New York City ordered by her friends. What are the chances that you get a REAL New Yorker to make a cake for you in Amsterdam... when you're moving to NYC from Amsterdam and the cake artist moved from NYC to Amsterdam? A very surreal New Amsterdam - Amsterdam experience indeed.
